Marissa was born in Florida but grew up in Durham which is where her fascination with hair began. As a child she enjoyed going with her mom to the salon and longed for those same special connections with clients of her own. After making her way into the beauty industry, Marissa has honed in her active listening skills and loves doing vivid transformations with her clients.
