Why SKW Extensions?

SKW method was created by a hair dresser and nurse practitioner that wanted to create the healthiest form of extension application. This method has the lowest amount of tension on the hair as well as the lowest possibility for traction alopecia (bald spots due tension and friction on the scalp). How do I know if I am a candidate for SKW extensions? 

We will book an in person consultation with one of our SKW artists. They will be best suited to answer this question. From the consultation we will then be able to book your appointment.

How long do they last? 

The hair itself can last 6-9 months with the use of the proper professional hair care and commitment to salon services. You will need to commit to a move up appointment every 6-8 weeks per your stylist recommendation. 

What is the maintenance? 

You will need to commit to a move up appointment every 6-8 weeks per your stylist recommendation. Your hair color maintenance can be done in the same service but this should be discussed with you stylist during consultation. 

What is the cost? 

This will be discussed with your during your consultation with your SKW artist. The cost will include the cost of the hair, installation, and at home care kit. Any custom coloring of the extensions will be an extra fee but may be necessary to provide the most natural blend of your hair and the extensions. 

What is the time commitment for initial installation? 

5-6 hours for the initial visit. We recommend wearing comfy clothes and bringing snacks and a phone charger to your appointment.
